So, it’s nice to be able to customize the Outlook project folder names.

I set it up originally as ‘Project Number - Project Name,’ but got complaints that the folders weren’t sorted alpha by project name. So, I changed the standard format to be Project Name only.

Now, the problem is, there doesn’t seem to be a way to set the format of the project shortcuts in Windows Explorer to match.

The default appears to be ‘Project Number - Project Name - Folder Name.’

So, in Outlook the projects sort alpha by name, and in Explorer they are sorted in numerical order.

Is there any way to change the format of the Explorer shortuct names?

Sorry, there isn’t anyway to change the File Explorer shortcut names.  I’ll capture this as a feature request.
