a couple of questions:

How do you move “Activities” in and out of your “Favorite Activities” box on your main “Project Home” screen?

as Administrator, is there a way to append any letters to the auto-generated “Issue ID” numbers?  (i.e. “HB-ISS-00002”)

email correspondence regarding an “Issue” always has the “issue code” in the subject line of the email, (i.e. Issue:00002:uZQMM)  Can we replace that “uZQMM” code with something (alphanumeric) that we supply, and that doesn’t look like we elbowed our keyboard each time we send an email?

the issue notifications look terrible on a Blackberry, is there a way that you can code the notifications to reformat for a mobile device?

thanks for your attention,

-gint

To move “Activities” in and out of your “Favorite Activities” box on your main “Project Home” screen use the Preferences—> Edit Project Home contents task on the My Projects page (Fourth Edition).

Once an Issue ID is created, it’s not a good idea to change it, as that will disassociate it with any already-generated email.  However, when creating an issue, you can supply your own alphanumeric Issue ID (e.g. ReallyBigIssue20080416 would results in a tag of Issue:ReallyBigIssue20080416:uZQMM).

You can not do anything with the 5 character project code at the end of the subject line tag.  It is generated when the project is created and is meant to be unique, even across companies.  We chose 5 characters because it should generate enough combinations, does not make the subject line too ugly, and is less likely to trigger spam filters.
