Instead of clicking on the search button, click on the arrow on the right side of the search button, this will display several search option.  From these options you can select “My Projects” or “Selected Projects” to search.

Is that possible?  User thinks he misfiled something and want to search all the projects (simultaneously) in “My Projects”.
