My goal is to export the fields showing up in the submittal History tab. The premise is that we have owner’s reviewing submittals, as well as consultants. We track both responses in Newforma.
I’d like to export the fields shown in the History tab so that in a spreadsheet I could easily see which submittals we have received Owner’s comments, Consultant’s comments, neither or both. Currently to find this information I have to click through each submittal and then mark off in a created spreadsheet that information.
How can I do this?
In general, coming from a dba background, I look at Newforma and see a database; and yet from what I can see we can only access a select set of fields( e.g., Submittal Log fields). How can we access other columns of information shown in other areas for our use?
UPDATE:
I run a report this morning, and it’s now showing the information I’m looking for: first line in bold, then the Actions beneath it. My previous history with the reports limited it to only the bolded information. For one aspect I do only need the bolded information - ie, now I have to delete the records in between in excel. So I’m back to a re-phrasing of my question: how do I choose which fields get exported in a log?
FYI: Experience with Newforma: brand-spanking new.
