A few users at my office use MS OneNote.

I was asked today if OneNote notebook content is searchable in NPC.

I don’t see .one in the supported file types list for 6e, so I’m assuming NPC can’t index them.

Just wondering if you might be adding support for these files in a future release.

You would need to add an iFilter for NPC to be able to index them.

CAUTION: We don’t recommend adding iFilters in the current release of NPC as the Microsoft Indexing Service doesn’t always work with iFilters added after the fact (i.e. it may crash the index).  However, we have re-architected the Search/Indexing function in 7th edition and we will be able to support adding iFilters to be able to index additional file types.
