ASIs

Does anyone have a good way of tracking ASIs (Architect’s Supplimental Information) in Newforma?  Specifically, I’d like to be able to log/record email or other supplimentary documents that may pertain to an ASI and have those documents be searchable/cross linking.  Ideally, I’d like to be able to work with them similar to the way Newforma handles RFIs.

We handle ASIs using Action Items. Keywords are used to filter them from the other action items. Emails and supporting documents can be associated with the ASI this way.

We do something very similar (using Action Items and Keywords) for the various CA-phase activities that Project Center does not directly support.

When we issue the transmittal for an ASI we manually number the transmittal “ASI-001” and are therefore able to keep a “log” of ASI’s by sorting the transmittals by ID.
