By default, the transmittal form produces black field names, but the data text is light grey. We want to change that , but I could not figure out how to change the color of the data that populates the form in InfoPath.

That is what I tried to do. I click on the field to activate it, and then click on the black font selection on the toolbar. I did that for every expression box. Then I save and publish the form and create a transmittal and the text comes in grey still, except for some reason the subject does come out black. I’ve done it twice, and when I design the form, and click on every field, it indicates that black is the selected font color.

I was just wondering if the expression boxes required some other method to change the text color of the data that appears in them.

Got it. I went into page setup, text, and applied the formatting I wanted to the Expression Box.

That way it formats them all at once. I also earlier forgot to save the source files back to the server which was part of the problem.
