Call me picky but is there a way to get the transmittal to keep formatting within the transmittal text if I past in bulleted text?  Also how about an auto signature?

Thanks.

I don’t *know* the answer to either question but here’s my suggestions:

Text formatting: I would wonder if Newforma is formatting in HTML - have you tried HTML bullets instead of (what I assume is) Word bullets?

Signature: Wouldn’t that just be part of your Transmittal template?

I also want to know how to have NF default to a different font and size.  Surely there’s a way to do that?

I was directed to this help video as it pertains to modifying Newforma Templates:

Is there any way to control my RFI and submittal log reports with a template?  I would like any of my users to be able to generate the same report with the fields and formatting I choose.

Thanks.

We would like to customize the Submittal Log Report to contain some additional data that shows up in the description of contents in the modify submittal form but doesn’t currently show up in the Submittal Log Report.
So, where is the data stored that gets pulled into the Submittal Log Report and is there an easy way to modify the Submittal Log Report?
Thanks,
Erin

This is in response to Bosh232:

Excellent question regarding the font options.

As of version 6.1, we do not provide any options in our toolkit for setting default font type or size in the user interface in Project Center.

We have had some other folks ask about this too, so I will add you to the feature enhancement request.

AS you may see from the rest of the thread, there are some things you can do with the templates.

Regards,

I don’t want to change the look of the reports or programs (font size, etc.), but I want to add some more data that is in the XML files but isn’t really getting displayed accurately in the report.
Ex. multiple items with different description of contents actions will only show one of the actions in the submittal log report.  So it might show as reviewed in the log when there are still items pending.

I know next to nothing about XML but I am doing a crash course on it’s ins and outs so I can figure how to generate this report.  The data’s there, I just need to format it.
