Is anyone used a Records Management Software for physical files that interfaces with Newforma?  How are people maintaining physical files?  Any thoughts?

I am new to my current company.  But we use Iron Mountain for physical file storage.  And in fact I’m waiting on a quote from a rep from them about emplimenting a blended backup/disaster recovery solution with them as well.  I’ll be sure to ask them if they have anything or heard of anything like that.

How are you keeping track of what job/projects are in each box at IM?  What is the program you use for that?

No Idea. =] I just started in Jan. as a network admin.  But I’ll try and find out. I know IM has a rediculously good inventory system but not sure how we interface that other than asking for a specific pickup date maybe? Not sure.

I wanted to update this question now that there are more users on this site.  What if any software are you using to track your paper documents and does it interface with Newforma?

Also how are you using the “record copy” function?  Not necessarily what the purpose of the Record Copy rather how are you as an end user utilizing this feature.
