Is it possible to relate/link an Info Exchange transfer to an action item?  As we’re starting to use more of the activity centers, this apparent lack of linking between action items and NIX transfers is unfortunate.

We are finding that many action items are completed by sending information out to the project team, either as an email response (which can be linked to an action item) or as an Info Exchange transfer.  As it stands now we appear to have to make this link manually in the “Description” box of the action item (which is not an efficient or reliable way to accomplish the linking) or copy ourselves on the NIX transfer and then file the notification email with the action item (again - kludgy).

Hi Matt,

We have had this request before to link objects to each other in Newforma Project Center.  Right now, we don’t have the facility to link all objects together.  Your manual approach is the best option for now. We are looking at a more generic approach to linking objects in a future release.  You have described a great use case though for this functionality.  I have added it to the +Feature.
