Is there a way to modify the footers in custom templates for Newforma forms?  I’ve tried setting up footers in Infopath when creating the templates, but they don’t translate through.  The “about:blank” and the date are obsolete.  I’ve attached an example to look at.  Thanks

Unfortunately, setting up a footer in InfoPath will not display when the template is used in Newforma Project Center and we currently don’t have a way to create a footer so that it shows up at the bottom of each page.

The about:blank and the date are settings that are coming from your browser.  See this thread on how to get rid of that information.

Hi Greg,

I don’t think proper footers (or headers) are supported.  Check the Newforma Help topic called “Customize Form Templates Using InfoPath”.  There are some useful notes about capabilities and limitations near the bottom of that entry, including this one regarding footers:

Custom header and footer controls from InfoPath are not transformed in the .XSL files used by Project Center. The customized header or footer will not display in the form generated from the .XSL file.

We ran into the same issue and have, for the time being, just removed our typical footer text from our customized forms.  Having it display wherever the page ended wasn’t what we wanted to see, plus it sometimes resulted in an extra page being generated that only contained the footer, which also wasn’t desired.

Exactly the feedabck I was looking for.  Thank you.
Erik,
If you wouldn’t mind, I’d love to see an example of your custom template to see how you’ve set up your fields.  As you know, a lot of work can go into setting these up and revising them to meet some graphical standards or personal opinions.  A look at another’s tactics would be helpful.
Thanks
