We are all human and make mistakes sometimes or at least I do,especially with so many distractions these days. So what if you accidentally filed an email to the wrong project, no reason to fret because you can easily search for the email or use the filters in the Project Email Activity Center to find the email that was misfiled. Then just simply drag and drop it back into your Microsoft Outlook inbox or right click on the email and copy and paste it back into your Microsoft Outlook inbox. Then, you can file the email to the correct project from Microsoft Outlook. Just remember to go back to the Project Email Activity Center that you misfiled the email to and select the email, then select Explorer Task from the Email Task Menu and select Delete to remove it from the wrong project.
