When creating a new project the Project Name is a required field.
When creating the list of your projects, the Project name field cannot contain certain special characters.  These include:
# $ % ^ : “” ;( ) ? \/ <> @ | (pipe symbol)nor can they have a period as the last character in the name.

Comments:

Dana,
We use Windows. I tried creating a project with ‘@’ in the name and Newforma allowed it. On Microsoft’s site, I don’t find this character listed as invalid.

I can create files with ‘@’ in the file names as well.

Is it no longer invalid? If Newforma allows it is there any problem using it?

Thx -Sam
