Template customizations

Project Center uses templates to gather and display project information in the forms, account notifications, reminders, and file transfer notifications that are created and sent from Project Center. The templates are .XSLT files that are used to format the data displayed in the Project Center forms. You can edit the files to create new template styles to fit the needs of your company.

Newforma Project Center form template overview

Forms:

ActionItemFormView
This form is used when the View Form task is selected in the Action Items activity center.

FileTransferFormView
This form is used when the View Form task is selected for a file transfer in the Info Exchange activity center.

RFIFormView
This form is used when the View Form or Send Email About RFI tasks are selected for an RFI.

RFIResponseFormView
This form is used for the PDF generated when the Respond to RFI Author task is selected, when the View Form task is selected for an RFI response action, and when the Send Email About RFI task is selected for a response to an RFI author.

RFITransmittalFormView
This form is used for the PDF generated when the Assign task is selected, when the View Form task is selected for an RFI transmittal, and when the Send Email About RFI task is selected for an RFI assignment.

SubmittalFormView
This form is used when the View Form or Send Email About RFI tasks are selected for a submittal.

SubmittalResponseView
This form is used when View Form task is selected for a submittal response action, for the PDF generated when the Respond to Submittal Sender task is selected, and when the Send Email About Submittal task is selected for a submittal response.

SubmittalTransmittalFormView
This form is used when the View Form task is selected for the Forwarded action, for the PDF generated when the Forward for Review task is selected for a submittal, and when the Send Email About Submittal task is selected for a forwarded submittal.

TransmittalFormView
This form is used for the PDF generated when a transmittal is sent out or when the View Form task is selected from the Transmittal activity center.

About InfoPath

Microsoft InfoPath enables you to create and deploy electronic forms using a drag and drop interface without having to know XML. When you create a template form in InfoPath, the data is saved as industry standard XML, but you don’t need to know XML to use InfoPath to design a template or fill out a form. InfoPath provides a way of creating and editing templates for forms that can be saved as XSL style sheets, which Project Center uses to render your custom forms.
