How do I generate an action item report for all the projects a team member is on?

You can accomplish this in 5th Edition…

1.  On the My Project Center page, down in the Project Activity Summary area, select the View in Window drop down as shown (doesn’t matter which project is selected in the My Projects list above).

2.  Select My Projects to get the list for the My Project list or Select Projects to pick specific projects.

3.  Assuming it is My Projects that is selected, a dialog appears with the list of open project items for the My Projects.  In the Type drop down filter, select the Action Item check box and select Filter.

4.  Enter the person’s name you want to generate the report for in the Team Member filter.

5.  Select the Report button in the lower left corner to generate a report for the information filtered in the dialog above.
