We had someone exclaim in the middle of a presentation that they had just saved the company $50,000 dollars because he was able to find an old email he had saved to his laptop that detailed an agreed upon fee for some work they had outsourced. When asked what would have happened if his laptop were stolen or his hard drive failed, his answer was simple: “It would have cost us $50,000”.
